The world is not enough
In the wake of certain events, i've begun to think about where I stand in life, at this moment in time.
Yes i'm a student, and therefore objective number 1 is to study, get the grades, and grasp that career. But is that all to it? Am i spending all this time just to attain that sacred cert? Nah there's gotta be more to that.
Why is it that when i "left home" 2 years ago, i felt homesick, and now still do? Maybe it's not "homesickness", but more of another case of "the grass is always greener on the other side". It's funny how others who haven't experienced living overseas long to do so, while others who have experienced it long to stop.
Is that what thats driving my life? Longing to obtain something i think i want, just to eventually get it and move on to the next. Is that it? Nah it can't be...
Yes ultimately as Christians we should all aim to be who He wants us to be. But that's so vague! That's so vague.
I'm supposed to come to a conclusion for this entry, but i don't know how. So many dreams, visions, fears. Or maybe they are just amplified, cos it's 0430 and i'm nodding off. Whatever it is, i'm not looking for a solution, i'm looking for a problem.
Hmm i have 2.5 weeks of holiday left. What should i do? Go backpacking in britain? It would have been enticing if i was in singapore, but funny enough, i rather spend the time surviving on my own with junk food and car magazines.
